A Webflow rebuild of a technical product site so it could carry campaigns, with a CMS the team edits themselves and tracking that follows each enquiry back to its visit.
Can the website match the engineering?

What it runs on
The tools behind this project. Each one has its own page on how we use it and what we connect it to.
WebflowWe're a Webflow Certified Partner. Your team can edit the pages without a developer, and the tracking and forms are wired in before launch.Tech
CloudflareSits in front of our sites and tools: DNS and caching, Workers, R2 storage, Access, Turnstile and Pages.Tech
GTMHolds every tag, in the browser and on the server, so a change goes in once and gets tested before it goes live.Tech
StapeStape runs the server side of our tracking. Tags load from the client's own domain, and the server passes each conversion on to GA4, Google Ads and Meta, so fewer get lost to ad blockers and Safari.Tech
GA4Counts sessions and events. We check it against the raw data before we report from it.Reporting
GSCShows which searches bring people to a site and which pages Google has indexed. We check it after every launch, migration and batch of new pages.Reporting
The client
Sector7 has been migrating companies off OpenVMS and Oracle Rdb onto Linux and the cloud since 1985. It has done more than 1,500 migrations for enterprise and government clients. The audience is technical and the sales cycles are long.
The brief
The old site was a PDF-heavy build on Bluehost. It didn't match the engineering behind it, and it couldn't carry campaigns. Sector7 asked us to rebuild it so buyers could find the right toolset or migration, and so email, LinkedIn and search traffic had a proper place to land.
What we did
We rebuilt the whole site in Webflow on a staging copy, then went through it page by page with the Sector7 team, one Jira ticket per page so they could review and sign off the copy.
- Content, not PDFs. The old PDF pages became on-page content (the downloads stayed), and the navigation was rebuilt around how buyers look: languages, VMS migration toolkits and migrations. Toolset packages cover combinations such as COBOL and Fortran, with bundle diagrams.
- A CMS the team runs. Toolsets, migrations, case studies, industries, partners, testimonials, a resource centre and around 130 client logos are all editable in Webflow. Jon, Sector7's CEO, got a CMS tutorial and editor access.
- Search protected. A redirect map of 215+ rules sent old URLs, PDFs and profile pages to their new homes, and we checked it in Search Console after launch.
- Hosting and consent. A move from Bluehost to Webflow, Cloudflare for DNS and firewall protection, and a Termly cookie banner with region-specific consent.
- Tracking. A first-party visitor ID ties form submissions back to the visit, and tracking was moved to server-side Google Tag Manager on Stape.
The site launched in early 2025.
What happened
The new site won a Web Excellence Award in May 2025. GA4 shows 14,021 new users in 2025 against 5,059 in 2024, up 177%, and visits kept climbing: about 1,900 a month across January to September 2026, against about 510 a month in 2024. The growth came with the rebuild and the campaigns it made possible: email mailshots, LinkedIn and the 2026 Oracle Rdb push, which brought 3,798 visits in April and 3,314 in May.
We solve the world's toughest OpenVMS migrations. I much prefer dealing with lines of code over designing a website.
That said, we decided that our digital presence must reflect the zero-defect engineering we promise our clients. The team delivered a website I'm proud to share with my whole network, it's clean, fast, and stable.
The project was executed flawlessly, on time and on budget. It finally communicates our core value: we solve the problem.
Highly recommended.

Why it worked
The rebuild gave Sector7 a site that looks as careful as its engineering, that its own team can edit without us, with tracking that shows which campaign a visit came from.
