How do you measure the return on an automation, whether it's n8n or Zapier?
We count what it replaces. Before we build, we write down how long the manual job takes and how often it happens. After launch, we look at how many times the workflow ran, how often it failed, and the time it saved against what it costs to run. We don't quote a standard payback period, because it depends on the job.
Before we build
- How often the manual job happens
- How long it takes each time
- How often it goes wrong when done by hand
- What a missed or late result costs
After launch
- Runs: how many times the workflow ran
- Failures: how many failed and who was alerted
- Time: the manual time it replaced
The cost side
On Zapier, the cost is the plan, which depends on how many tasks you run. On n8n, which we host ourselves, it's a small server plus the time to keep it updated and backed up. We count that time too.
The saving that matters most
Sometimes it isn't hours. It's a lead that used to wait two days for a reply and now gets one the same afternoon. That's why we track the outcome in the CRM, not just the number of runs. It's part of our ongoing management service.

What is ongoing management, support, and reporting?
It means we don't launch your marketing and leave. We keep running and improving your ads, website and tracking on a retainer, and send reports that show what's working and what we'd change.
What’s included in your performance reporting?
Spend, leads or sales, and cost per result by channel, using data we've checked first. Reports sit in a Looker Studio dashboard you can open any time, and each one ends with what we'd push, fix or stop.
How do you ensure continuous optimisation of my marketing?
We review your ads, website and CRM data on a regular rhythm and pick the biggest fix. That might be a test, a creative refresh, a landing page change or a tracking repair.
How do you communicate updates and results to clients?
By email, scheduled calls and reports, with a chat channel for anything urgent. You can reach us whenever you need to, and we keep updates short so they don't eat into your day.
What happens during onboarding for ongoing support?
You fill in a questionnaire so we understand your business and sector. Depending on the project, we then review your current marketing, website and analytics, and agree a plan for what to fix and improve first.
