How do you approach a website redesign or rebuild?
We start with your goals, your visitors and what the current site is doing. Then we draw the key pages in Figma and agree them with you, and only then build, on the platform that suits the site. We talk the design through with you on a call before the build starts.
1. Look at what you have
We start with your goals and your visitors, and look at what the current site is doing: which pages matter, and what happens to an enquiry once it comes in. We keep what works and fix what doesn't.
2. Draw it and agree it
We design the pages that matter most in Figma. You comment in the file and we talk it through on a call. Nothing is built until the layout is agreed.
3. Build it
We pick the platform for the site. Webflow suits a site your team wants to edit without a developer. If a site needs custom code we use Astro and Keystatic, and for shops we use Shopify. We set up tracking and forms before launch, so the first visitor is already counted.
4. Move off WordPress if you're on it
We don't build or maintain WordPress sites. If that's your starting point, we'll move you to Webflow or Astro, whichever suits the site. We redirect the old addresses so they keep working.
5. Launch and hand over
We test, publish, and show your team how to edit it, with a CMS guide or live training. Want us to keep looking after it? We can do that too.
An example
Our own site is the one we can show in full. We moved pacing.agency from Webflow to Astro and Keystatic, checked every page against the old version, and kept the old addresses working through redirects. See how we built it, or the Website Design and Development service.
